"...Walmart is establishing an emergency leave policy for its employees amid the coronavirus outbreak.
In a March 10 email to all US employees, the company announced it would waive its attendance policy through the end of April as part of a "COVID-19 emergency leave policy." Walmart US CEO John Furner, Sam's Club CEO Kath McLay, and Chief People Officer Donna Morris requested in the email that employees opting to stay home still "call in as usual" to update store management.
"In order to be paid for this time, you may use your regular paid time off options," the email said. "If your store, club, office or distribution center is part of a mandated quarantine or if you're required to quarantine by a government agency or by Walmart, you will receive up to two weeks of pay, and absences during the time you are out will not count against attendance..."

Walmart employees may report a sick day online at WalmartOne.
Click the WORK tab below your profile information, select third block (top right) “Report an Absence”, the system then auto fills your WIN #, name, and store.
You then select from three drop down options: Tardy/Absent, Today/Tomorrow, and then the reason.
No calls, no waiting on hold, it gives you a conformation number and informs your stores management for you.

New Walmart PTO Policy
"...Walmart and Sam’s Club are launching a new, simplified PTO policy, effective March 5, 2016 that will streamline paid vacation, sick time, personal time and holiday time into one category.
And the one-day wait to use sick time will be eliminated, as promised...
Associates will also keep any existing and accrued sick and personal time.
These balances will be kept separate, to be used for certain circumstances once all available PTO is used."
